Why Performance Data in Large Organisations is Rarely Strategically Usable
The data is there — distributed across tools, laptops, coaches’ minds and Excel files. What is missing is a structure that brings it together, protects it and keeps it available for years.

Data silos between disciplines, locations and age groups

Coaching change = loss of knowledge, because data was on a private laptop

No unified athlete view across seasons and squads

Multiple isolated systems for timing, GPS and video — without a common standard
One Platform. All Disciplines. All Roles.
Lympik is designed as central performance infrastructure, not as a standalone tool. Alpine skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, ski cross, rowing, motocross — everything runs in the same system, with the same athlete database, the same permissions, the same export standards. New disciplines, new locations, new coaches integrate without system changes.

Structure
Each level with its own admins, coaches and visibilities.
Access Rights
Each role gets exactly the view and permissions it needs.
Data Ownership
When a coach leaves the organisation, all athlete data, sessions and videos remain with the federation.

CHRONOS
Professional Timing Unit
CHRONOS is the high-precision timepiece from Lympik, a proprietary development from Austria, built for professional sports. It transmits every time pulse including athlete identification via 4G in real time to the Lympik web app. Athletes identify themselves via NFC tag, wristband or lift card. With IP67 protection, 24-hour battery at -20°C and automatic power dialing, it runs reliably through every training day.

Timing training
Cloud software for training
The Lympik web app has its own training module: easy to configure, directly in the browser. Set up the route in minutes — start, finish and any number of intermediate times. Athletes identify themselves via NFC chip, lift card or start number; each time is automatically assigned to the correct profile. Sector analysis, rankings and the entire training history are immediately available. Results can be shared via link, WhatsApp or QR code and exported as Excel.

Timing competition
Cloud Software for Competitions
The Lympik web app has its own competition module: intuitive to use, without training. Participants can be imported here via CSV and start lists can be created. In operation, start numbers can be automatically assigned to times.
Various evaluation modes — e.g. smooth run or fastest run time — are available at the push of a button. Results can be exported directly as CSV or JSON.

OCULUS
Motion Tracking Unit
OCULUS is Lympik's compact, high-precision motion sensor designed to capture every movement with exceptional accuracy. Using advanced GNSS technology and integrated motion sensors, it detects position, speed, acceleration, and more — and provides reliable data even in demanding training environments. OCULUS is small, robust and user-friendly and forms the basis for professional, data-based performance analysis in daily training.

Motion analysis
Cloud Software for Motion Data
It combines powerful sport-specific analytics with exceptional ease of use and enables coaches to gain detailed insights with just a few clicks. Predefined and customizable templates ensure consistent, comparable results across all training sessions and automatically process key figures such as speed, acceleration and split times. The result: professional-level performance analyses that are simple and efficient and are suitable for daily use in training.

IRIS
Video syncronization unit
IRIS is Lympik's professional video analysis system. It is designed to capture high-quality video footage in real time and synchronize it with performance data. In combination with movement analysis, trainers can synchronize key figures such as speed and time to each frame of the video and thus gain deeper, sport-specific insights. The result is a fully integrated video and data workflow that speeds up technical analysis in daily training, makes it clearer and more effective.

Video analysis
Cloud Software for Video Analysis
It combines synchronized video recordings and performance data to make technical details visible and measurable in every movement. Trainers can review scenes frame by frame, compare athletes side by side and display important key figures such as speed or split times directly into the video. The result is clearer feedback, faster corrections, and more effective, data-driven training.
Häufige Fragen
How is it ensured that athlete data stays with the federation when a coach changes?

All sessions, videos and athlete profiles are assigned to the organisation, not to the individual coach account. When a coach leaves the organisation, access is centrally revoked — the data remains fully intact and is immediately available to the successor.
Can we assign different permissions to different roles?

Yes. Lympik works on a role-based system: coach, athlete, manager, service technician, analyst, admin. Each role has a predefined permission profile that can be customised per organisation. Athletes cannot see other athletes’ data, service technicians cannot see personal performance data.
How does Lympik handle multiple disciplines?

Disciplines are managed as separate areas within the same organisation. The biathlon coach sees biathlon, the alpine skiing coach sees alpine skiing, the sports director sees both. Athlete data can — for multi-discipline athletes — be linked across disciplines.
Can Lympik be integrated into our existing IT landscape?

Yes. Standard exports as CSV and JSON are available for all data. Via the API, performance data can be transferred to external analysis systems, data warehouses or federation platforms. Single sign-on and individual integrations are available on request.
How is sensitive athlete data protected?

Lympik operates the platform on European servers, GDPR-compliant. Data accesses are logged, roles are restrictively predefined, and athletes have access at all times to the data stored about them.
Is a pilot operation with one discipline possible before rolling out across the federation?

Yes — that is the entry point we recommend. Organisations typically start with one discipline or performance centre, expand to further areas after a season and subsequently consolidate existing standalone solutions.
